Open-Access & In-Network Vision Care at Total Vision Centers
At Total Vision Centers in Springboro, we offer flexible open-access and in-network options for your vision care. We work with various insurance plans to ensure you receive the care you need while maximizing your benefits.
At Total Vision Centers, proudly serving Springboro, Ohio, we are committed to providing exceptional eye care while making the insurance process as simple as possible. Whether you're visiting for a routine exam or more specialized treatment, our team is here to guide you through your insurance options, ensuring you get the most out of your coverage and the care you deserve.
Open-Access Provider
Our advanced eye care center works with all types of insurance on an 'open-network basis.' As an open-access meaning that even if we're not directly contracted with certain vision insurance companies, we can still bill your out-of-network benefits. This flexibility allows you to continue seeing your trusted eye doctors at Total Vision Centers while still taking full advantage of your insurance.
While your exam benefits remain the same, please note that material benefits (like glasses or contacts) may be slightly reduced when using out-of-network benefits. To make up for this, we offer additional discounts to ensure that your overall costs remain as low as they would be with an in-network provider. The main difference is in how the claims are processed, but your experience, quality of care, and overall costs remain comparable to seeing an in-network provider.
In-Network Vision Insurance
For those with EyeMed or Spectera vision insurance, we are happy to be in-network providers. This means that if you are covered by one of these plans, your costs for eye exams, glasses, contacts, and other services will be billed using your in-network benefits. We work directly with these companies to handle all billing and claims, providing you with a seamless and affordable experience.
Medical Insurance Coverage
At Total Vision Centers, we accept a variety of medical insurance plans, including Aetna, United Healthcare, Anthem, Humana, and Cigna. Medical insurance typically covers treatments for conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other eye diseases. Routine eye exams for vision correction are generally covered by vision insurance, but if you have a medical condition that requires monitoring, medical insurance may cover the exam portion related to that condition.
We handle all the paperwork with your insurance provider to ensure you get the coverage you need. Whether it's an exam, a specialized procedure, or treatment for an eye condition, we are here to ensure your eye health is taken care of without any added stress.
